The film “Dying Beauty” screened at the Richmond International Film Festival in Virginia, in the United States, and advanced to an Official Grand Jury Nominee for 2023. It documents the salt formations of the Dead Sea across 2021 and 2022 — a landscape that forms and disappears fast enough to be filmed, as the level of the sea keeps falling. It was shot from the air, from land and from within the water itself.
